Tucson Training Camp – Recovery and Skills Day

Day 5- Friday Recovery

Day five of camp was a recovery day. Still, we rode our bikes- of course. After breakfast we headed out for an optional 1.5 hours skills clinic. Cornering with speed and doing U-turns were on the program. Really important for us coaches was, that every athlete understood the positioning on the bike when riding through a corner.

After that we did an easy spin with the whole group up to A-mountain and on the bike path along the river. At the end we stopped for coffee.

In the evening Alison talked about mental skills training and visualization, before the campers went out to town for Mexican dinner.

We end the camp tomorrow with a Spirited Race Type Ride.
