January Tucson Training Camp

gates pass2What: January Tucson Training Camp. The focus will be base miles, 3-5hrs daily and can be tailored toward individual goals and needs. As always, we will include skills training- riding in a group, time trialing, cornering, climbing, and sprinting. Each evening we will have a athlete/coach meeting and a group discussion about training, racing, nutrition, mental preparation, coffee, etc.
When: January 25th-31st 2016. Travel days are the 25th and 31st (rides are optional those days depending on when flights are). We will provide airport pick-up and drop off.
Where: Tucson Arizona. Average temps in January are highs in the 60’s and low’s in the 40’s. Average rain fall– not much. This year, we are staying at The Greens- a condo complex at the bottom of Mt Lemmon.
Why: Because traveling to a different environment, riding with other people, getting coached everyday, and riding 6 days straight will make you a better, stronger, and more confident bike rider.
What’s included: We will be staying in the The Greens. We have 2 and 3 bedroom condos, that will sleep 3-4 people. If you have a person you don’t mind sharing a bed with, invite them to come along and you both save $$. Otherwise, the condos have twin beds and you will share a room with another rider– or you can pay an optional $200 extra for your own room. We will be providing breakfast, recovery drinks, and 3 dinners. 3 dinners are on your own. We’ll have a follow car, ride food, Osmo Hydration, and Osmo Recovery, and ALP Swag for all riders. All rides will be coach lead and have a specific focus.
What’s not included: Mechanic and massage.
ALP Athletes and Early Bird Pricing (RSVP and $500 deposit paid by Nov. 1) : $1800 or $2000 for your own room.
Non- ALP Athletes and after Nov. 1: $2100 or $2300 for your own room and bigger bed
Tucson Training Camp is currently limited to 12 athletes.
